My grandma was a one of kind, although I was not fortunate enough to know her very long, as she passed away when I was three. Despite this, she left a huge impact on my life. Before she passed away, she told my mom that she really hoped I will remember her and I do! Her quilts were one of a kind (although mine currently resembles a worn out string since I have slept with it every night for almost 30 years).  From her hand sewn quilts for every grandchild, to her carrot cake, applesauce and homemade strawberry jelly, her memories live on to this day.
